If you ever wanted to make your opinion count regarding ubuntu artwork, now is the time.
I just got this in the ubuntu-art mailing list:
For those who are interested, there are a couple of new polls set up to
get a grasp on our swelling membership numbers.

I am updating my popular Ubuntu Server 6.10 (Edgy Eft) VMware Image to the new version – Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty Fawn).
Expect this minimal server appliance to be available for download freely in a few days.
It took almost 5 years, but it’s finally ready. I’m not expecting to release v1.0.1 anytime soon, unless someone’s been sitting on a major bug just waiting for v1.0 to be released.
People wanting new features should start testing the upcoming v1.1. http://dovecot.org/nightly/ contains now snapshots from CVS HEAD. It already has tons of new features. I’ve been using it myself for half a year, so it should be mostly stable too. I’ll write a separate mail about this later.
Dovecot is an open source IMAP and POP3 server for Linux/UNIX-like systems, written with security primarily in mind. Dovecot is an excellent choice for both small and large installations. It’s fast, simple to set up, requires no special administration and it uses very little memory.

Yes, i am finally coming back again to the blogging scene, after many months of almost no updates. Time has been scarce, but this time i hope i will be here to stay, with frequent posts about what i feel should be talked about.
Expect some practical tips about Linux, Software Development, OpenSource, and many other things i feel confident enough to talk about.
Also, i am will be running another site, WebmasteringBlog dedicated mostly to webmasters and bloggers, and providing useful news, articles and resources to bridge the gap between technology, web and blogging.
You can also expect some articles about monetizing web sites (how to earn revenue with advertising), with practical tips and examples.
I hope to see you come back soon!
This VMware appliance is a standard install of Ubuntu 6.10 server, in a 63MB package.
This image can be useful to quickly deploy a base operating system from a small package, and with a minimal configuration time (about 2 minutes).
Update:
This moved to it’s own Projects page
